On a serious note, I feel that I have to say this.
Yesterday after baptism things didn't go too well. I expected the day to proceed VERY SMOOTHLY. Like I would have the time of my life.
But no, everything just spiraled down. That agony just slowly built up and well, honestly I haven't felt like that in awhile lol.
I did many many things like pray and everything, hoping for an improvement in things and that we could meet up.
But then there still wasn't any result. That was when I started to doubt God. I can't believe I did that too. I never doubted God after I gave him my life.
But yeah, nothing improved, but slowly things unravelled itself.
I realised that:
Even if we went out, you'd be really tired and things won't go too smoothly.
I was being selfish again, and I didn't consider how you'd have felt.
I needed to study for my a math >_<
My point is, that God DOES have a reason behind everything. If we don't get what we want, there's a reason for it. God can provide us with the strength and support to do many things. But we still have to do work in order to achieve what we want in life.
Being a christian doesn't mean that we don't have to bother about what we do or how we act etc. It doesn't mean that we can turn on the 'auto-pilot' mode and relax in the back while the plane flies itself to the destination. It just means that with God, our plane is upgraded with turbo boosters thrusters which will help us reach our destination faster. We still have to control the plane, and steer safely to our destination.
Being a christian does not mean we won't face problems. We still do cause God wants us to grow stronger by tackling these problems and overcoming obstacles. When we go to heaven we should be strong right? So God is helping us become strong!
Well, baptized yesterday but my life hasn't changed... YET. Why I ask myself, it's cause I haven't done anything to change it! So yes, I started reading the book I got from my cell group last year. What happened to 'The Rule of Four' you might ask. Let's just say I'm not smart enough hahaha.
